Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our compassionate Behavioral Health team. This role is ideal for a skilled and thoughtful provider with a passion for serving patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing treatment plans, prescribing medication, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary mental health team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Patient Care & Treatment
Provide expert psychiatric care for mental health conditions
Conduct evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and primary care teams
Maintain EMR documentation in a timely and thorough manner
Contribute to holistic care that emphasizes dignity and long-term wellness
Collaborative Teamwork
Participate in integrated care initiatives with other RRH departments
Leverage support from case managers, RNs, and administrative staff
Join a team that values compassionate communication and teamwork
Help advance Behavioral Health access in a rural community setting
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Active California medical license or ability to obtain
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Experience in rural or community mental health settings is a plus
